Pursuits Volleyball Club: Adults Only (*Pursuits Club membership required)

The club has a qualified volleyball coach.

Beach Volleyball: -

Summer: May Bank Holiday to August Bank Holiday

*Open to new comers - novice or experienced players (male or female).

Play Monday evenings - 18:30 to dusk (weather permitting).

Courts are set up on Sandbanks beach, near the pavilion at the Banks Road car park (up to six nets avialable).

Casual play, often six a side - informal training as required. Emphasis is just to have fun and enjoy the beach environment (frequant barbecues, and often retire to the Sandacres pub afterwards).

Average attendance: 22 - 40

Indoor Volleyball: -

*Open to new comers - novice or experienced players (male or female).

Train Monday evenings 19:00 to 21:00hrs (September to April).

Venue: Oakmead College of Technology Sports Centre - Poole

Each evening is a mix of training and game play, on two volleyball courts (often retire to the pub afterwards).

Average attendance: 12 - 20

Other Information:

Winter League - for 2007/8 there will be one team entered: -

1) Division III

NOTE: The Pursuits Volleyball Club operates within the much larger Pursuits adventurous, sports and social activities club, and therefore membership is required.

Pursuits volleyball is played with a FUN and sociable motive. Pursuits enter a variety of tournaments throughout the year: Summer: Southsea, East Hants, Epsom, Hamworthy Winter: Poole Novice (twice).
