Spike Monkeys Volleyball Club:

New members are always welcome to join the club at any level and ability. The focus for the forthcoming season is to develop a ladies team, so any ladies out there wishing to join us are particularly welcome.

Beach Volleyball (Easter to September): -

Date: Every Thursday night.

Time: 19:00 to 21:00hrs (weather / light permitting).

Place: Sandbanks beach (near the main beach carpark).

Casual play, often four a side - informal training as required. Emphasis is just to have fun and enjoy the beach environment (often have barbecue too). Open to new-comers - novice or experienced players, male or female.

Indoor Volleyball (September to Easter): -

Date: Every Tuesday night, commencing 4th September

Time: 19:00 to 22:00hrs.

Place: Sir David English Sports Centre - Bournemouth

Each evening is a mix of training and game play. Open to new-comers - novice or experienced players, male or female.

Other Information: -

Spike Monkeys VC try not to take the game to seriously, but instead try to maintain a sociable club spirit. Pub nights, meals, and barbecues are a regular occurrence.

The summer brings a number of grass-court tournaments - exotic locations such as Exeter , Bordon, Ashcombe and Bath .

Winter League - 2 teams have been entered into the PBVA league for 2007/8, in divisions 2 and 3.
