| Sandbanks is an adults only Volleyball Club and has been playing indoor local league and beach volleyball for many years... our club is open to new members (Coach: Alun Knowles).
Local League (PBVA): we currently have three teams - two mixed and one ladies team.
Training during the winter season is held at Sir David English Sports Centre (Bournemouth) on Sunday evenings 19:00 to 21:00hrs. We hire two courts and the evening is a mix of training and playing.
Beach Volleyball is played during the summer months on Sandbanks beach.
Tuesday evening is 'pairs night' and is for the more experienced players only. However, Wednesday and Sunday evenings are more recreational with teams put together of two, three, or four players (mixed) depending on numbers participating.
Beach Volleyball starts at 18:00hrs and finishes either when players are worn out or the light fades.
Whist there is no formal structure for competitions, many players enter competitions such as the Sandbanks Beach Volleyball Festival.
